Al Arbour, Coach of Islanders’ 1980s Dynasty, Dies at 82

Arbour, who played in the N.H.L. as a defenseman, took over the Islanders in 1973, after they lost 60 games, and led them to four consecutive Stanley Cup titles, from 1980 to 1983.
