A primary component of using social media is connecting with friends. Unfortunately, scammers are taking advantage of this in order to steal your identity. Known as “farcing,” these scams start when you receive a friend request from someone who supposedly shares mutual friends with you.
Once you accept the request the scammers search your online profile to collect personal data about you, such as your hometown, schools you attended, employers, siblings, and vacation spots. They often go a step further by contacting you directly through the site’s direct messaging feature to ask more questions about you, based on the information you’ve already posted. After you have accepted their request, they continue their scheme by sending friend requests to your friends, and then their friends.

“As a former Assistant U.S. Attorney and criminal defense attorney, I’m well acquainted with how federal sentencing practices can, in too many instances, lead nonviolent drug offenders to spend decades, if not life, in prison. Now, don’t get me wrong, many people are justly punished for causing harm and perpetuating violence in our communities. But, in some cases, the punishment required by law far exceeded the offense.
These unduly harsh sentences are one of the reasons the President is committed to using all the tools at his disposal to remedy unfairness in our criminal justice system. Today, he is continuing this effort by granting clemency to 46 men and women, nearly all of whom would have already served their time and returned to society if they were convicted of the exact same crime today.
In a video released today, the President underscored the responsibility and opportunity that comes with a commutation:

Amazonis Planitia @24.8°N 196.0°E is one of the smoothest plains on Mars.
It is located in the DMZ between the Tharsis and Elysium provinces to the west of the disputed Olympus Mons, in the highly volatile Valles Marineris Province of the Memnonia quadrangle. With a lull in the fighting at Marineris, scientists were able to document this rare event on the Red Planet.

Dust devils are strong, proper-formed spinning whirlwinds made visible by the dust particles and dirt they suck off the ground. Dust devils occur on Mars and Earth.
On the Martian surface, the dancing dirty djinn’s range from a half a metre wide and a few metres tall, to massive ones more than 100 metres wide and more than 20 kilometers tall. The primary vertical motion is upward.
They are comparable to tornadoes in that both are a weather phenomenon of a vertically oriented rotating column of air. Most tornadoes are associated with a larger parent circulation, the mesocyclone on the back of a supercell thunderstorm. Dust devils are usually harmless, compared to their coiling cousins, but can on rare occasions grow large enough to pose a threat to people, animals, mechs, and physical structures. Dust devils usually form as a swirling updraft under sunny conditions during clear weather, seldom coming close to the power of a tornado.
