This 14-in-1 Anker Docking Station Is $100 Off for a Few More Hours Until Prime Day Ends

Prime Day 2025 ends tonight, and Lifehacker is sharing the best sales based on product reviews, comparisons, and price-tracking tools before it’s over.

Getting your home setup to feel like a real workspace can get messy fast, especially if you’re juggling multiple monitors, a webcam, external storage, and still need a charger. The Anker Prime 14-in-1 Docking Station tries to put an end to that mess, and for Prime Day, it’s down to $169.99 from its usual $269.99. That’s a 37% discount and the lowest it’s ever gone for, according to price-trackers.

This docking station covers almost everything you’d want to plug in. You’re getting 14 ports, including dual HDMI, multiple high-speed USB-C and USB-A slots, Ethernet, and SD card support. That means you can charge your laptop, phone, headphones, and tablet all at once, while pushing out video to two monitors. And with up to 160W total output and 100W charging from a single USB-C port, it’s powerful enough to keep your main device running without a hitch. Just a heads-up: If you’re using macOS, the two external displays will mirror each other rather than act as extended screens.

Of course, it’s not the smallest thing around, and some features, like the 8K video output, depend on having the right gear. But for most users with a MacBook or a newer Windows laptop, it’s a solid way to expand what your machine can do without juggling adapters. Still, for this price, it’s a pretty solid all-in-one solution.

I Love Throwing Parties With This Karaoke Speaker, and It’s $70 Off for Prime Day

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Prime Day 2025 is here from Tuesday, July 8 to Friday, July 11, and Lifehacker is sharing the best sales based on product reviews, comparisons, and price-tracking tools.

The Soundcore Rave 3S uses a unique AI feature to turn any regular song you play over Bluetooth into a karaoke track by digitally removing the vocals. I praised it highly in my review, and I’ve had a lot of fun making it a centerpiece at my parties this year.

Right now, you can pick one up for $279.99, $70 off the usual price.

If you’ve ever experienced that feeling of disappointment when looking for a specific karaoke song on YouTube and coming up empty-handed, this speaker is for you. It has happened to me plenty, mainly because my taste in music is fairly niche. If the songs you’re searching for are easily found on YouTube and you’d prefer a smaller, more portable speaker, I recommend getting the Ikarao Shell S1 portable speaker instead.

Otherwise, the Soundcore Rave 3S is pretty sweet. The AI vocal remover works well. You can trigger it by pressing a button on one of the two Bluetooth microphones or through the companion app. You can also choose the degree to which you want the vocals to be removed.

The companion app is intuitive and useful and includes fun Vocal Enhancer features that change the sound of the mic (with options for neutral, warm, presence, and bright). The EQ options are also very detailed and change in real time. The battery will give you up to 12 hours of juice, so you can take the party outdoors. It’s splashproof, with an IPX4 rating.

This Hydration Vest for Runners Is 46% Off for Prime Day

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Prime Day 2025 is here from Tuesday, July 8 to Friday, July 11, and Lifehacker is sharing the best sales based on product reviews, comparisons, and price-tracking tools.

If you’re like me and keep trying to go on runs during a heat wave, you know how important it is to properly hydrate. And as our runs get longer, and the temperatures creep higher, a standard water bottle just doesn’t cut it. Good news for serious runners looking to upgrade their hydration game: Prime Day has great deals on running gear this year. Right now, this Nathan hydration pack/running vest is 46% off, down to $97.60 from a retail price of $180.

With its 4-liter capacity, this Nathan Vest provides ample storage for both hydration and essential gear, featuring two water-resistant pockets, two kangaroo pockets, and a sleek shape designed for breathability during intense training sessions. I’m especially drawn to the moisture-wicking tapered back panels, which should prevent the friction that typically causes discomfort during extended wear. Still, it never hurts to apply a little anti-chafe Body Glide before your run.

Storage capacity often determines the practicality of a hydration vest, and this vest delivers 244 cubic inches of intelligently organized space. The new side pocket provides easy access to your phone, keys, or energy gels.

Most importantly, he vest comes with two 20-ounce hydration soft flasks. With a vest system like this, you can get consistent hydration access without the sloshing or shifting that can disrupt your oh-so-precious running rhythm. The soft flasks compress as you drink, reducing bulk and maintaining the vest’s streamlined profile throughout your run.

This vest particularly benefits trail runners, ultramarathoners, and anyone regularly running distances that require mid-run nutrition and hydration. Still, road runners tackling any sort of “long run” will appreciate just how much a game-changer running vests are when it comes to proper hydration. For a more minimalist (and more affordable) alternative, I recommend the 50oz CamelBak Hydrobak Hydration Pack, currently 30% off at $42.26.

Google’s Newest, Best Smart Thermostat Is $60 Off for Prime Day

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Prime Day 2025 is here from Tuesday, July 8 to Friday, July 11, and Lifehacker is sharing the best sales based on product reviews, comparisons, and price-tracking tools.

Nest thermostats have been around for a while, and they just keep getting better. The latest, the 4th generation model Nest Learning Thermostat adds new intelligent features like monitoring outdoor air quality and circulating interior air when the air outdoors is less than stellar.

The new thermostat has a stylish, modern design that fits in with almost any home decor. Like previous models, this one will learn your habits, including when you are and aren’t home, and will adjust your heating and AC to keep things comfortable while minimizing energy use.

Newer features like Nest Renew can prioritize heating or cooling when the energy you’re paying for is cheapest, to help lower your bill even further. It can also help when you’re on vacation, by reducing the heating or cooling while you’re gone, and easing it back to a comfortable temperature before you get back, to avoid massive spikes in energy use from trying to cool or heat a lot all at once.

Normally, this thermostat retails for $280, but right now it’s down to $220, which is $20 lower than the sale price we typically see it at. This model has only been out for about a year, so there hasn’t been a better time to pick this one up.

I’m a Marathon Runner, and My Favorite Walking Pad Is 34% Off for Prime Day

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Prime Day 2025 is here from Tuesday, July 8 to Friday, July 11, and Lifehacker is sharing the best sales based on product reviews, comparisons, and price-tracking tools.

New to Prime Day? We have a primer on everything you need to know. Sales are accurate at the time of publication, but prices and inventory are always subject to change.

Normally $499.99, the Merach W50 walking pad is currently on sale for $329.99—making it a much stronger option for such a solid walking pad. As I covered in my review of the machine, the Merach offers true treadmill-like durability. However, that sturdy constructions comes at the cost of easy storage.

As someone who’s logged thousands of miles training for marathons, but who also works from home, I know the importance of active recovery during the day. Weather, safety concerns, or simple time constraints can make outdoor recovery walks challenging—that’s where the Merach W50 shines. Here’s what sets it apart:

  • Treadmill-quality incline: The 12% auto incline feature is by far the most notable aspect here. Most walking pads offer minimal or no incline, but the W50’s significant grade allows for hill training. With the trendiness of walking-based workouts, this high grade of incline is a serious selling point. Personally, I use this feature for active recovery hill walks and to build lower leg strength without the impact stress of running.

  • Impressive weight capacity: I appreciate that this walking pad can handle serious use. The robust construction feels stable even during brisk walks or when transitioning between different incline levels.

  • Surprisingly quiet operation: Living in an apartment, noise is always a major concern. The W50 operates quietly enough that I can use it for early morning recovery walks without disturbing neighbors. The motor runs smoothly even at higher inclines, which isn’t always the case with budget walking pads.

Perfect for a true walking workout.
Credit: Meredith Dietz

While I’m a fan of the W50, it’s not perfect for everyone. The most significant limitation is its non-foldable design. Unlike compact walking pads that slide under beds or into closets, the W50 requires dedicated floor space. If you do have the space and are serious about incorporating walking into your routine, the Merach W50 at this Prime Day price is a great deal.

I’m a Competitive Weightlifter, and These Are My Favorite Prime Day Deals on Fitness Equipment (So Far)

It’s the second day of Prime, and I keep finding new deals on fitness items. Read on for the best deals on bikes, treadmills, smartwatches, dumbbells, accessories, and more. I’ll be updating this list throughout the week with more deals.

The best Prime Day deals on fitness trackers

I’ll cover a bunch of smartwatches below, but first I wanted to call out these other trackers:

  • Oura Ring 4 in black or silver, $297 (normally $349). This week is the first time the Oura Ring 4 has ever gone on sale, and you can read my review of this ring here. It’s a solid improvement over the gen 3 ring

  • Oura Ring 4 in brushed silver or matte black, $339 (normally $399)

  • Oura Ring 4 in gold, $424 (normally $499)

  • Whoop 5.0 with 12 months of “One” membership, $169 (normally $199). This is the budget tier of membership, but it comes with the same hardware as the middle tier that most people have, so you could always upgrade later if you decide you like it.

  • RingConn gen 2 ring in silver or black, $209.30 (normally $299). I haven’t tried this tracker myself, but it’s a subscription-free alternative to the Oura ring.

The best Prime Day deals on cardio equipment

Rowers

  • Hydrow Pro rowing machine: $1,735 today, down from $2,195. This rower has a 22” HD screen that can deliver live and on-demand workouts with a $44/month subscription. The smaller Hydrow Wave is $1,453, down from $1,695.

  • Peloton Row: $2,964.99 today, normally $3,295.

Bikes

Treadmills

  • NordicTrack T Series treadmills: The 6.5S model is $664, down from $799. Other models in the T series line are on sale, too, at that same link.

  • NordicTrack Commercial treadmills: The Commercial 2540 is $2,499, down from $2,999. It can go as fast as 14 miles per hour, and increase to a 12% incline. What’s special about this one is it can also do a 3% decline, incredibly useful if you’re training for something that has a lot of downhill running that you need to get used to. This treadmill also folds into an upright position for space savings.

  • Proform Carbon treadmills:The Proform Carbon TL is $463.99, down from $599. It has a built-in fan and a space-saving design.

The best Prime Day deals on smartwatches

Fitbit

  • Fitbit Charge 6: $99.95 today (normally $159), a great price for a tracker that does the basics solidly. (See my review here.)

  • Fitbit Inspire 3: $74.95 (normally $99.95). This is Fitbit’s budget tracker, without its own GPS capabilities—it uses your connected phone’s GPS.

Garmin

  • Garmin Forerunner 955: $349.99 (originally $599.99). This is probably the best deal on a Garmin you’ll find today, as it’s the Forerunner with built-in maps and tons of advanced running features. This is an older model (predating the 965 and 970) but Garmins have serious longevity and it’s not going to feel “old” anytime soon. The one caveat is that it has a MIP screen, which is an older tech, but some people prefer it anyway.

  • Garmin Forerunner 255: $199.99 (originally $349.99). Same pros and cons as I mentioned with the 955. It’s an older model (since replaced with the 265 and 570) but every bit a great running watch that will serve you well for years to come. I’d recommend it over the Forerunner 165, a newer entry-level model that is also on sale, but only for $231.99 (down from $249.99). The 255 has more features, like dual-band GPS, compatibility with cycling power meters, and extra analytics like training status.

  • Garmin Epix Pro (gen 2) Sapphire: $609.99 (originally $1,099.99)

  • Garmin Venu 3 and 3S: $399.99, originally $449.99. The Venu 3 is Garmin’s smartwatchiest watch, with voice calling and ECG features. The 3S is the same thing but in a smaller size. If you like the Venu’s style but you’re looking for a more budget-friendly watch, try the Vivoactive 5 ($190.99, originally $299).

  • Garmin Instinct 2X Solar: $299.99, originally $449.99. This is another slightly older model (there is now an Instinct 3 series) but this is still an excellent price on an excellent watch. This one features solar charging, an LED flashlight, and multi-band GPS in a rugged build—great for hiking and other outdoorsy activities.

Apple

Google Pixel

  • Pixel Watch 3: $299.99, down from $399.99. This is the newest Pixel watch, which I reviewed here—it makes a fine fitness tracker in addition to being a great Android smartwatch.

  • Pixel Watch 2: $206.34, originally $249.99.

Samsung Galaxy

  • Galaxy Watch 7: $159.99 for the non-LTE version in the 40 mm size, down from $299.99. The big caveat here is that the Galaxy Watch 7 is no longer the newest! A Galaxy Watch 8 was announced today and will start shipping July 25.

The best Prime Day deals on workout headphones

  • Shokz OpenRun Pro 2: $124.95, down from $179.95. These are the best bone conduction headphones out there. Bone conduction means you can always hear what’s going on around you, and the connected ear hooks mean you’ll never lose them or get them separated. Make sure to check their size guide to know if you should order the mini or the regular size.

  • Shokz OpenRun: $89.95, down from $129.95. These have a little less battery life and the sound quality isn’t quite as good as the Pro, but they’re still a great pair of headphones. I have an older model of these headphones and they’re amazing for workouts.

  • Shokz OpenFit 2: $124.95, down from $179.95. These are a pair of individual earbuds that each have an ear hook.

  • Powerbeats Pro 2: $179.95, down from $249.99 I love these headphones for their secure ear hooks and the fact that they have both noise cancellation for busy gyms, and transparency mode for when you’re running outdoors. The advertised heart rate feature is unreliable, though. Here’s my review.

  • Beats Solo 4: $97.99, down from $199.99. These are on-ear bluetooth headphones, great for the gym. It’s hard to argue with 50 hours of battery life and 50% off.

The best Prime Day deals on adjustable dumbbells

  • Powerblock Pro 100: This 100-pound dumbbell (sold as a single) is $509.99, originally $599.99.

  • CAP Adjustabells: $208.99 today, down from $299. This is an entry-level set that goes up to 55 pounds each, and are sold by the pair.

The best Prime Day deals on home gym equipment

  • Keppi adjustable bench: $195.96, originally $279.99. I have this bench in my own home gym and it’s great—super sturdy for barbell lifts and easily adjustable.

  • Lat pulldown handle set: $96.79, down from $120.99. This is a set of five handles in different widths, from narrow neutral grips to ultra-wide grips.

  • Barbell and bumper plate set: $406.10 for a set that includes 370 pounds of weights. That’s $1.10 per pound, which is a steal for bumper plates.

The best Prime Day deals on fitness accessories

  • Adidas Defender 4.0 duffel bag: $27 for the medium size, down from $45. I tell you guys every year that this is my favorite gym bag, and it’s still true—my six-year-old Defender in size Small still holds everything perfectly and looks like it’s brand new.

  • Ativafit weighted vest: $53.19, down from $69.99. This vest is adjustable and can go from two pounds up to 22 pounds, which will cover most of your rucking needs.

  • Flipbelt running belt: $27.75, down from $37. This is one of my favorite running belts, and holds a ton of stuff.

  • Nathan men’s/unisex Pinnacle Race hydration vest: $97.60, down from $180.

  • Nathan women’s Pinnacle Breeze hydration vest: $103.99, down from $129.99.

The best Prime Day deals on heart rate monitors

  • Coospo H6: $23.99 (was $29.99). This is my personal favorite chest strap, the one I’ve had for three years and it’s still going strong.

  • Coospo H8086: $26.26 (was $36.99). Similar to the H6, but is a newer model with an LED indicator light.

  • Polar H10: $76.19 (was $104.95). The classic, solid choice, with internal memory.

  • Polar Verity Sense: $84.95 (was $104.90). This is an armband monitor, with an optical sensor—not necessarily as accurate, but still better than a wrist sensor. If you find chest straps uncomfortable, an armband is the next best thing.

This Mini Food Processor I Use Every Day Is Only $14 for Prime Day

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Prime Day 2025 is here from Tuesday, July 8 to Friday, July 11, and Lifehacker is sharing the best sales based on product reviews, comparisons, and price-tracking tools.

I was so excited the day I could finally afford a real, full-size food processor. The problem is that “full-size” equals big, and while I haul it out for big projects, it’s too much of a hassle to do so daily. That’s why I love the dainty 3-cup Hamilton Beach processor, which sits out all the time. I’ve come to rely on it for my day-to-day needs, and I probably chop garlic in it once a day. It was only $25 when I bought it, but it’s now $13.99, making it almost silly to pass up.

While three cups sounds measly, it is perfect for a few key tasks. The aforementioned garlic chopping takes only moments; a handful of herbs from the garden gets shredded quickly; and I can get a whole onion in there with no problem. It’s particularly fantastic for making dried spice blends quickly.

This mini processor is only 8 inches tall, so it fits anywhere. You can throw the parts in your dishwasher, but I find a quick rinse is all that’s usually needed. Unlike my full-size processor, there’s no complicated assembly you need to complete to get the machine to turn on. You just press down for a few moments, you get a nice chop, then dice. Leave it longer and you get puree. Add fat like olive oil (there’s a small hole in the top), and you get emulsification. It’s powerful enough that I can whip small amounts of butter and get through any nuts I’ve tried.

I wish there was more to say about this adorable appliance, but it simply works, and costs next to nothing.

I’m a Tech Reviewer, and These Are the Best Prime Day Tech Deals (So Far)

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Prime Day 2025 is here from Tuesday, July 8 to Friday, July 11, and Lifehacker is sharing the best sales based on product reviews, comparisons, and price-tracking tools.

Amazon’s Prime Day is a bit of a misnomer at this point. No longer just a day and no longer limited to just Amazon, there’s a number of great deals to check out this whole week across retailers, including Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and more.

With tech often getting pretty expensive, it’s a great time to actually get that gadget you’ve been eyeing for a while. Unfortunately, some of these deals are admittedly a bit too good to be true, which is why it’s important to track an item’s price history before going in on a sale that looks a bit unrealistic. Fortunately, I’ve already taken care of that for you. Over this week, I’ll be updating this list with the best deals on laptops, tablets, TVs, and more that I can find. More deals will pop up over time, and prices are accurate as of the time of writing, but inventory may fluctuate and sell out in between updates, so you may not want to hesitate if you see a sale that appeals to you.

The best Prime Day laptop deals

Laptops are one of the most reliable items to go on sale during Prime Day. Here are my picks, across PC and Mac alike.

  • Apple MacBook Air 13-inch with M4 Chip: $849 at Amazon (was $999). Apple’s most recent MacBook Air, this comes with the new M4 chip and a base 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

  • Apple MacBook Air 15-inch with M4 Chip: $1,049 at Amazon (was $1,199). This MacBook Air model also has an M4 chip and starts with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, but has a larger, 15-inch screen.

  • Apple MacBook Pro 14-inch with M4/M4 Pro/M4 Max chip: $1,429 at Amazon (was $1,599). The smaller MacBook Pro starts with an M4 chip, 16GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage, but can be configured with either an M4 Pro or M4 Max chip, as well as higher memory and storage capacities.

  • Apple MacBook Air 16-inch with M4 Pro/M4 Max Chip: $2,599 at Amazon (was $2,899). The larger MacBook Pro has the biggest screen on an Apple laptop, and comes packed with either an M4 Pro or Max Max chip, with RAM and storage configurable depending on how much you’re willing to spend.

  • Microsoft Surface Laptop 13-inch: $800 at Best Buy (was $900). Microsoft’s own spin on a MacBook like form factor is on sale right now, offering a familiar layout to anyone hopping to Windows for the first time and coming with a battery-friendly ARM chip.

  • Samsung Galaxy Book5 360: $1,284 at Amazon (was $1,350). This Samsung laptop is a convertible, meaning it can flip around for a tablet like form factor. It has a mid-range Intel Core Ultra 5.

  • Acer Chromebook Plus 514: $320 at Amazon (was $400). This Chromebook has a generous 1080p IPS screen, and while it’s not as powerful as more expensive laptops, it comes with a number of “Chromebook Plus” AI features that seek to even the odds.

The best Prime Day tablet deals

Tablets, to some people, are now just as vital as a laptop, and tend to get Prime Day deals just as often. Whether you prefer Apple or Android, there’s likely a pick for you.

  • Apple 11-Inch iPad: $399 at Amazon (was $449). Apple’s basic iPad can be gotten for a slight discount right now, and comes with an A16 chip, which is the same processor in the iPhone 14 Pro.

  • Apple 13-Inch iPad Air: $699 at Amazon (was $799). The iPad Air technically isn’t Apple’s thinnest iPad anymore, but it is a decent upgrade over the base model, with the much more powerful M3 chip and the option to buy in either 13 or 11 inches.

  • Apple iPad Pro: $916.95 at Amazon (was $999). Apple’s most premium (and actually thinnest) iPad, this model boasts the M4 chip, putting it roughly on par with a MacBook Air. A first for iPads, it also has an OLED screen.

  • Microsoft Surface Pro: $700 at Amazon (was $800). This pick is the only tablet on this list with a full-fledged desktop operating system, coming complete with the same Windows 11 experience you’ll find on any other PC. That makes it great for people who want to be able to shift from tablet style convenience into a more traditional computing environment at the drop of a hat.

  • Google Pixel Tablet: $369 at Amazon (was $399). Android on tablets hasn’t always been great in the past, but the Google Pixel tablet made a concerted effort to improve it for the big screen, with more usable widgets and better app compatibility. It’s what I use personally, and I actually like it better than the old iPad I used before it.

The best Prime Day phone deals

The beginning of the year usually comes with a lot of new phone models, so yours might already be outdated. Here are your best opportunities to upgrade this Prime Day.

  • Samsung Galaxy S25 (Unlocked): $780 at Amazon (was $860). Samsung’s Galaxy line is probably as close as you’re going to get to the iPhone experience with Android, and it’s a good fallback solution for folks unsure where to start. It’s also known for its cameras, so it’s good for shutterbugs, too.

  • Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra (Unlocked): $1,220 at Amazon (was $1,420). Samsung’s Ultra phones have the highest megapixel counts on the market, and also come with styluses. This is maybe the most premium experience you’ll get in mobile right now, Android or otherwise.

  • Google Pixel 9a (Unlocked): $449 at Amazon (was $499). Google’s Pixel phones are known for their AI smarts, and the budget-oriented Pixel 9a gives you access to most of what you get from other Pixel devices. Plus, it loses the bulky camera bar, making it a bit easier to fit in your pocket.

The best Prime Day earbud and headphone deals

Just get a new phone? Good for you! But you’re probably going to want some earbuds or headphones to go with it, right?

  • Apple AirPods Pro 2: $159 at Amazon (was $249). Apple’s best earbuds are on sale right now, and are really worth the slight splurge. They come with noise cancellation, USB-C charging, conversation awareness, and a speaker in the case so you can find it more easily.

  • Apple AirPods 4: $99 at Amazon (was $130). Apple’s most recent non-pro AirPods are also on sale, giving you USB-C charging, spatial audio, a promised 30 hours of battery life (with the charging case), and voice isolation.

  • Beats Studio Buds: $114.49 at Amazon (was $150). Technically an Apple brand, Beats offer cheaper noise cancellation than you get on AirPods Pro, plus a different shape some people may prefer.

  • Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II: $229 at Amazon (was $249). Bose’s redesigned earbuds feature have noise cancellation, a touch-based interface, and uniquely come with a Bose “fit kit.”

  • Sony WF10000XM5 Earbuds: $199 at Best Buy (was $300). Sony is, for my money, Apple’s best competition when it comes to noise cancellation. The company’s WF1000XM5 earbuds shrink its tech down to its smallest possible form factor, without sacrificing quality..

  • Apple AirPods Max: $450 at Amazon (was $549). Apple’s full over-ear headphones, the AirPods Max, are great for people who want AirPods-level noise cancellation and automatic source switching, but prefer a more traditional form factor.

  • Beats Studio Pro: $180 at Amazon (was $350). Apple’s more affordable headphones, the Beats Studio Pro have personalized spatial audio and active noise cancellation.

  • Sony WH-1000XM4: $193 at Amazon (was $348). These Sony headphones are two generations behind, but offer a compact form factor that’s hard to find cheaper elsewhere. They offer conversation detection, a mic for onboard calls, Alexa control, and three color options.

  • Sony WH-1000XM5: $298 at Amazon (was $400). Sony’s last generation of noise cancelling headphones loses some portability, but upgrades to four beam-forming microphones for better calling, plus promise an up to 30-hour battery life.

The best Prime Day TV deals

Sales events are pretty much the only time I buy TVs. I’m not in the market for an upgrade right now, but here’s what I would get if I were.

  • LG 77-inch B3 OLED TV: $1,486 at Amazon (was $2,297). LG makes some of the best OLED TVs around, and this big-screen model combines a 4K resolution with a speedy 120Hz refresh rate. There are four HDMI 2.1 inputs.

  • Roku 55-inch Plus Series QLED 4K Smart TV: $299 at Best Buy (was $500). Roku is maybe one of the best ways to get a TV for cheap right now. Available in up to 75 inches, this TV is 4K, supports Dolby Vision, has a 60Hz refresh rate, and comes with Roku’s snappy operating system built in. Be sure to select the size you want to see accurate pricing.

  • TCL 55-inch Class Q6-Series 4K Smart Google TV: $280 at Best Buy (was $320). If you’re not big on Amazon’s or Roku’s operating systems, then a TCL TV is a good bet. This model comes in up to 98 inches, has a 4K QLED panel, supports Dolby Vision, and has an acceptable 60Hz native refresh rate.

  • TCL 85-Inch QM7 QLED 4K Smart TV: $1,400 at Amazon (was $2,000). This upgrade from TCL is only getting deals on its higher sizes at the moment, but is still a relatively affordable way to get a big-screen experience at home. It has Google TV built-in, support 4K, can play games at up to 240 fps, and while it’s not OLED, its QD-Mini LED tech comes with plenty of dimming zones, for a similar experience.

Looking for something else? Retailers like Walmart, Best Buy, and Home Depot have Prime Day competition sales that are especially useful if you don’t have Amazon Prime.

  • Best Buy’s Prime Day competition sale, “Black Friday in July,” runs through Sunday, July 13 and has some of the best tech sales online. It’s an especially good option if you’re a My Best Buy “Plus” or “Total” member.

  • Home Depot extended its 4th of July sale through at least July 9, competing with some amazing deals of its own. It’s an especially good option if you’re looking for power tools, appliances, or outdoor equipment.

Outdoor speakers

Anker has been killing it in the budget speaker and headphone department for some time now. The Anker Soundcore 2 Portable Bluetooth Speaker is a great example, currently $29.44 (originally $44.99).

If you’re looking for a more recognizable brand name, you can try the Sony SRS-XB100 Wireless Bluetooth speaker, currently just $33 (originally $59.99). This is a record low price for this speaker.

Amazon smart speaker

While you can’t take the Amazon Echo Dot outdoors like the previous speakers, you can command it to turn devices on/off, ask it questions, or play music in multiple rooms if you own multiple Echo speakers. You can get this newest model for $31.99 (originally $49.99).

Earphones

As I previously mentioned, Anker also makes great budget earbuds. The Soundcore P30i are just $39.99 (originally $49.99), offering ANC, 45 hours of battery, and an IP54 splash-proof rating.

For those in the Amazon Echo ecosystem, consider the Amazon Echo Buds, which are currently at their lowest price ever of $44.99 (originally $139.99) after a 60% discount. They have ANC, hands-free Alexa, and are compatible with both iOS and Android.

If you’re looking for over-ear headphones, Anker also has the Soundcore Q20i Hybrid ANC Headphones currently for $49.99 (originally $69.99). They have powerful bass, customizable EQ in the companion app, and 40 hours of battery.

Security cameras

Blink always has good deals during Amazon events—it’s owned by Amazon after all. Right now, you can get the latest Blink Video Doorbell with the Sync Module Core for $34.99 (originally $69.99). If you prefer an outdoor camera, get the same bundle but with the Blink Outdoor 4 for $39.99 (originally $79.99)

Roku streaming stick

My favorite streaming stick is Roku, it’s simple, responsive, reliable, and affordable. The Streaming Stick 4K has HDR and Dolby Vision compatibility and the remote has voice support. Get it for $34.99 (originally $49.99). Check out other Roku options here.

Point-and-shoot camera

Point-and-shoot cameras have been making a comeback. You can get the Camkory Kids Camera for $39.99 (originally $49.99), which shoots 1080p with a 44MP camera lens.

Mini projector

You don’t need an expensive projector to get the job done. The Clokowe Mini Projector is just $34.99 (originally $69.99) after using the 30% on-page coupon. It projects in 1080p and it’s compatible with iOS and Android phones. Not bad for a budget projector.
