OWS Protesters arrested at Parc de Martyrs
D1PD said a group of protesters were arrested when they started setting up sleeping bags around Parc de Martyrs and were told to refrain. Ten people were arrested and taken to detention from the site around 10:30 p.m. for disorderly conduct and aggravated menacing.
This occurred just hours after OWS protesters declared a “Day of Action” and rallied around the city. Protests included a “sit-in” at Place de Marshall, a march on a Bank of Schicklgruber branch, near the north-east entrance to Grand Central Terminal Station at Underground, and vocal gatherings near Mechanical’s midtown headquarters.

A Burnside Ave. man, Norbert Henry Kozlinski, killed his wife and himself before setting their bodies on fire. According to a police spokesperson.

D1 couple sentenced to Death for witchcraft.
A District 1 couple from Wellington has been sentenced to death for Witchcraft, an EC website has reported.
Wallace Montserrat, 32, and Phoebe Collinswood, 28, confessed to Practicing the Occult, “invoking spirits”, and attempting to alter future events through “spiritual mediums”, according to the Courier News of EC.
The report stated Vice Police of D1PD extracted the confessions with enhanced interrogation techniques.
Elderly man attacked at eatery
A 54 year old LaFayette resident was beaten with a lead pipe by a wild teen, D2PD said
The attack occurred at the LeJerk fast food restaurant on Ave. de Marcadet at Fulton Market.
The man was taken to Wellsely Corporation Hospital, where he remains in critical condition, according to a police spokesperson.
Police said no motive for the attack is known.
